Welcome to VolNET

We operate a DMR system in the State of Tennessee based on the ETSI DMR Tier 2 standard.
"DMR" stands for Digital Mobile Radio and is in use in several Amateur and commercial networks worldwide.
For an excellent overview of how the system works, please check the downloads section for the Amateur Radio Guide to Digital Mobile Radio by John Burningham, W2XAB.

Please also check our FAQ's page for a list of Frequently Asked Questions.

We are interested in building a statewide network. If you would like to join us, please use the Contact page to get in touch.

Website has been updated, Acceptable Use Policy published and a new talkgroup!

- Please review our Acceptable Use Policy, this was voted on and put into place in June 2016 but we have not had time to publish it:

- We also have a new talkgroup! Introducing "VolTAC", with a talkgroup number of 865. More info is on our talkgroups page.
